Here are some things we have in store!
JOIN OUR COMMUNITY!
Yoga + CrossFit Games Watch Party
Sunday, August 6 - 10am @ the gym
You are invited to our usual Sunday yoga class followed by a party to watch the final day of the 2017 CrossFit Games here at the gym! We will start yoga at 10am sharp! All skill levels are welcome, and there will be no charge for non-members this time.
Then after yoga hang out at the gym to check out some of the events of the Games. (To learn more about the Crossfit Games go to games.crossfit.com) We will be grilling some food and drinking some cold beverages.
Please comment what food/drink you are bringing when you RSVP on Facebook! You are still welcome to come to watch the Games if you can't make yoga.
Saturday, August 19 - 9:30am @ Bobby Hicks Pool
August may beat July in terms of heat so come cool off with a swimming workout (no class at gym). There will also be a non-swimming workout option at the pool! It is $4 for a one day drop in.
Sunday, August 20 - 10am @ the gym
Join us for a yoga class on the first and third Sundays of every month. Michelle is a fellow CrossFitter who tailors her classes to address the typical aches and pains while getting us #flexy! Free for members, $12 to drop in!
Free Mommy + Me Class
Wednesday, August 23 - 10:30am @ the gym
Are you a new mom looking to get back into fitness? We are offering a free class to moms of babies up to 1 year old (or who can be comfortably worn in a carrier).
As a new mom of a 3 month old and am eager to get back in shape, and looking to meet other moms in the area! You do not need to have prior fitness experience.
We will cover functional movements like squats, carries, and walking using our babies as weights. Carriers are recommended, but you can participate without one. Prepare for a warm environment as our gym is not air conditioned and we will be going outside.
Saturday, August 26 - 9pm @ the gym
McGregor vs Mayweather in the "fight of the century". We will order the fight on pay per view at the gym and split the cost among those attending. The more people that come, the less you have to pay!
“This matchup is unprecedented. There has been overwhelming demand from fight fans, and it’s great to be able to deliver".
